I am seeing some 380-400 GH/s miners on eBay. Price is a bit steep but cheaper than buying a bunch of Antminers I suppose. Seems they are using the Avalon 55nm chips. Any feedback or info about these machines?

How long did it take to develop the first avalon prototype? How many avalon miners have shipped to date? What got YOU into bitcoin? Are ASIC units going to kill gpu mining all-together?
This post is NOT to sell, only to discuss about the potential mining profits if I keep this unit for another couple of months. Currently I get around 2.5-3 bitcoins a day.
